Configuration of the High Mast Light:
1. The shape is typically a dodecagon or octagonal conical pole, meticulously crafted from high-strength steel plate. Using precision cutting, bending, and automatic welding, the poles reach heights of 25m, 30m, and 35m, with an impressive wind resistance design of up to 60 meters per second.
2. In terms of functional framework, the construction is both durable and visually appealing, primarily using steel materials. Components such as steel pipes, lamp posts, and lamp plates undergo hot-dip galvanizing for enhanced durability.
3. The electric lifting system is comprised of a powerful electric motor, a robust winch, and three sets of hot-dip galvanized steel wire ropes and cables. This system ensures a smooth lifting speed of 3 to 5 meters per minute, safely housed within the lamp post.
4. The guiding and unloading system includes a precision-engineered guide wheel and guide arm mechanism, which ensures the lamp plate remains stable and does not shift transversely during the lifting process.During the lifting process. Once the lamp plate is in the correct position, it can be automatically lowered and securely locked in place by a reliable hook mechanism.
5. The lighting electrical system is designed to support between 6 to 24 lamps, available in 400 W or 1000 W options. These include metal halide lamps (white light) and floodlights. Additionally, a sophisticated computer time controller automates the switching times, allowing for partial or full illumination as needed.
6. Lightning protection system: the lamp top is fitted with a 1.5-meter-long lightning rod,
and the underground foundation is equipped with a 1-meter-long grounding wire, securely welded to the underground bolt for optimal safety.
Classification of High Mast Lighting Systems
High Mast Lighting Systems are generally divided into two categories: lifting and non-lifting types. The lifting main poles typically exceed 18 meters in height, offering the convenience of electric lifting operations. Once the lamp tray ascends to its operational position, it automatically detaches, securing itself in the groove and allowing the wire rope to be released.
The lifting type high-mast lighting system is equipped with dual lifting control options: manual and electric. This feature allows the lamp tray to be safely and securely lowered to a height of 2.5 meters above the ground, facilitating easy maintenance.
Thanks to the versatile lifting mechanisms, the lead-out wire for the manual remote control device spans an impressive 10 meters. Operators can execute the lifting and lowering operations from a safe distance of up to 5 meters, ensuring their personal safety throughout the maintenance process.
Each lift-type high-mast lighting system comes equipped with a spare cable. When the lamp tray is lowered to an appropriate level, one end of this cable fits into the electrical control system's socket while the other connects to the junction box on the lamp tray. This setup allows for direct power supply to the lamps and facilitates thorough overhauls.
The lift-type high-mast lighting systems boast a sealing grade of IP65 international standard, effectively preventing dust and rain from compromising the bulb's service life. The lamps and lanterns are predominantly crafted from aluminum alloy plates and stainless steel, materials renowned for their excellent corrosion resistance.
