The configuration of the high mast light is as follows:
1. The structure typically features a dodecagon or octagonal conical pole, crafted from high-strength steel plates that are cut, bent, and automatically welded. Standard heights include 25m, 30m, and 35m, with a maximum wind resistance design capable of withstanding speeds up to 60 meters per second.
2. The functional framework, which also incorporates decorative elements, is primarily composed of steel. Components such as the steel pipe, lamp post, and lamp plate undergo hot-dip galvanizing.
3. The electric lifting system includes an electric motor, winch, three sets of hot-dip galvanized steel wire ropes, and cables.Inside the lamp post, the lifting system operates at a speed of 3 to 5 meters per minute.
4. The guiding and unloading system, comprising a guide wheel and guide arm, ensures the lamp plate remains stable and does not shift transversely.during the lifting process. Once the lamp plate reaches its designated position, it automatically drops and locks into place via a hook mechanism.
5. The lighting electrical system can accommodate 6 to 24 lamps, ranging from 400 W to 1000 W, including metal halide (white light) lamps, spotlights, and floodlights.A computer time controller allows for automatic management of switching times, enabling partial or full illumination as needed,
6. The lightning protection system features a 1.5-meter-long lightning rod at the top,
while the underground foundation includes a 1-meter-long grounding wire welded to the underground bolt for added safety.
Classification of High Pole Lamps
High pole lamps can generally be divided into two categories: lifting type and non-lifting type. The lifting type typically features a main pole height exceeding 18 meters, facilitating convenient electric lifting operations. Once the lamp tray ascends to its working position, it can automatically detach, securely hook into place, and release the wire rope.
The lifting type high-pole lamp is equipped with both manual and electric lifting control modes, enabling effortless lowering of the lamp tray.
The lamp tray can be safely and reliably lowered to just 2.5 meters above the ground for easy maintenance. The manual remote control device features a 10-meter lead-out wire, allowing the operator to control the lamp panel's lifting from a safe 5-meter distance, ensuring operator safety.
Each lift-type high-pole lamp includes a spare cable. When the lamp tray is lowered to an appropriate height, one end of the cable is plugged into the electrical control system's socket, while the other end connects to the junction box on the lamp tray. This setup enables direct power supply to the lamp tray, simplifying maintenance and repair of the lamps and lanterns.
The sealing grade of all lamps and lanterns in the lift-type high-pole lamp meets the IP65 international standard, effectively preventing dust and rain from entering and extending bulb service life. The lamps and lanterns are usually constructed from aluminum alloy plates and stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance.
